Our goal is to increase the amount of capital flowing into the impact sector.

About Impact Club.

Impact Club is Australia’s first impact investing network created for wholesale investors who want to deploy capital to create positive social and environmental impact.

Typically, our members are high-net-worth individuals and families keen to begin, continue, or further their commitment to achieving significant impact with the resources available to them.

As a network, we aggregate global lessons and examples from impact investing and seek to create innovative new models of impact investment. We aim to bridge the gap between an investor’s intentions and actions. Consequently, we are action-oriented.

We aim to create a thriving, passionate, and engaged community of investors committed to achieving impact, whether they are new to impact investing or are long-term impact investors.

Impact Club is a group of passionate investors who see the use of their wealth as an extension of their personal values and an opportunity to create positive social and environmental impact.

“Our community is made up of passionate investors who see their wealth, its management and its use, as an extension of their personal values.”

What problem are we solving?

Impact Club is for investors to learn more about impact investing, to find and share opportunities, and to grow the impact investment community in Australia. We aim to increase the quality and volume of investments made by existing impact investors and inspire others to include impact investments in their portfolios by facilitating information flow and by leveraging our collective capital and expertise.

Impact investing is intentional, measurable & should generate a positive return.

Impact Investing

  • Impact investing is an approach, not an asset class. It is a lens through which investment decisions are made.

  • Intention matters. Impact investments are motivated by the intention to create social or environmental good. If the intention of an investment is solely financial gain, even if the investment unintentionally creates social or environmental good, it is not an “impact investment”.

  • Impact investments must be measurable, both in terms of their financial return and their social and environmental impacts. If these can’t be measured, they can’t be verified as impact investments.

Where do we invest?

Anywhere we can couple commercial financial returns with positive social and/or environmental impacts. Members preferentially invest if themes that are of interest and importance to them. Members that share interests often collaborate on many different aspects of an impact deal.
